Four persons were injured when three cars being driven in the same direction were involved in a traffic accident on the Birkirkara by-pass this afternoon, the police said.
The accident happened at around 6pm when the cars were being driven towards Msida.
One of the cars involved ended up on the centre strip before hitting a tree.
The four injured persons were taken to hospital for treatment.
