Galatasaray: Turkish champions Galatasaray appointed their youth coach to manage the first team after Mustafa Denizli quit three months after taking the job, the club said yesterday. Galatasaray said in a statement that Orhan Atik, their Under-21 coach, would manage the side until the end of the season. Denizli had taken over in November after former coach Hamza Hamzaoglu left after less than a year at the helm. Xhaka: Borussia M'gladbach midfielder Granit Xhaka has fuelled speculation he will be moving to the Premier League next season by saying it is his "childhood dream" to play in England. "Everybody has a childhood dream, and for me it is England," the Switzerland international said. Liverpool and Manchester City have both been linked with the 23-year-old. Bad result: The FA of Malaysia (FAM) have rejected their president's request to stand down from his post in the wake of the national team's worst ever defeat.
