Gift of a book

Late last year, a relative in Australia wrote to ask whether I knew of any publications on Valletta in Maltese to give as a Christmas present to one of her grandchildren who is studying both our history and language. I had a few in mind but considering that the family has a strong connection with the Royal Navy and Valletta, Strada Stretta: It-Triq li Xegħlet il-Belt was one of the ideal books to include.  Since I already had the earlier version by George Cini in English and which I had highly recommended to many, an updated Maltese edition was an ideal choice.
