The new Board of the Authority for the Environment and Resources under the chairmanship of Professor Victor Axiak met today for the first time at Hexagon House in Marsa.
Prof Axiak is also the Acting CEO of the authority until a new CEO is chosen.
Minister for Sustainable Development and Climate Change, Leo Brincat, had nothing but praise for the new board while wishing them all the best for the work which lies ahead.
The minister insisted that he is certain that the members will give their utmost in the best interest of Malta's environment.
