Netted after trying to import drugs through post

A British man has been arrested in connection with drug importation, the police said. The 24-year-old was arrested after he tried to import the cannabis drug through the postal service. A police search at his residence yielded illicit substances, especially ecstasy tablets. The police also found other items which indicated that the drugs were going to be trafficked. He was intercepted following a joint operation between the drug squad and the Customs Department. The man is expected in court later today.
