Prof. Victor Axiak has been named by the government as the chairperson of the Environment and Resources Authority.
Ms. Carmen Buttigieg is vice-chairperson; Prof. Alan Deidun represents environment NGOs, Alan Pulis is a public officer in the sector, while Prof. Alfred Vella, Dr Jason Bonnici , Perit Ruben Abela, Louise Spiteri and Alexia Pisani are independent members. Prof. Maria Attard represents the Opposition.
