Briton grievously injured in hit-and-run at St Paul's Bay

A man was grievously injured when he was hit by a car which allegedly drove on, the police said.  The incident took place at 8.45pm yesterday in Triq Gulju corner with Triq ix-Xitwa in St Paul's Bay The man, a 50-year-old Briton was given first aid by people who happened to be on the scene and was then rushed to hospital. The police appealed to anyone having information to phone in confidence on 119 or 2122 4001.
