A philharmonic orchestra, a local hip hop crew and a bagpipe band will be among the acts lined up to perform at a Mellieħa music festival. Mellieħa will be organising an international music festival for the third consecutive year next week, with an eclectic mix of musicians and performers lined up to perform over its four-day period.The festival will begin on Thursday 2 June with a performance by English cjoic Cantamici at the Manikata parish church at 8pm. Valletta 2018 chairman Jason Micallef and Culture Minister Owen Bonnici will officially launch the festival.It will run until Sunday 5 June, with events being held in the town square.
