A St Paul's Bay woman, 34 years old, reported to police last night that she had been raped.
The report was made at 2.30am.
The woman claimed that at 11pm, she met a coloured man who allegedly raped her at Dawret il-Qawra.
Police investigations are ongoing and a magisterial inquiry has been appointed.
