Gaffarana is in control of the Office of the Prime Minister and of the police, Nationalist Party deputy leader Beppe Fenech Adami said today.
Eight months have passed since the Gaffarena-government property deal was broken in the media, and yet no action has been taken by the police in his regard, he added.
The only police action that was taken took place a day after the resignation of parliamentary secretary Michael Falzon, when officers turned up at the Government Property Division and treated all employees like criminals, Dr Fenech Adami said.
He added that the police should investigate the links that exist between Gaffarena and Castille.
