89-year-old British woman robbed and injured in private residence

An elderly British woman was injured when a hooded burglar robbed her in a house in Marsascala today. The police said the case happened at about 12.30pm in a private residence in Triq l-Imriekeb, Marsaskala. A hooded man entered the house and stole jewellery which an 89-year-old woman, who was inside, was wearing. The woman was injured and hospitalised.
